The Wonder Horse

The Wonder Horse (1957)

George Byram

Horse-breeder and writer Byram gives this horseracing fantasy valuable verisimilitude, but in the end, it’s little more than a horse-breeder’s daydream set down on paper. A natural, if unexpected mutation produces a horse of incredible strength and speed, throwing the horseracing community into a frenzy. It’s up to the lucky owner to figure out to make a buck off the animal. From the pages of The Atlantic Monthly.
