Cosmic Teletype

Cosmic Teletype (1938)

Carl Jacobi

Truly silly, nonsensical science fantasy about a self-taught scientist and inventor whose “cosmic teletype” picks up messages from two warring planets. Poe’s balloon ascent to the moon has as much scientific validity as this tale, and Poe wrote his story 103 years earlier.
